A blaze at a recycling yard in Griffon Road, Ilkeston started on Thursday 6 November at around midday.
Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire fire crews attended the incident.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service Stapleford Fire Station said:
‘At its height, six fire crews, an aerial ladder platform, high volume pumps, a command unit and a water carrier attended to deal with the blaze.
‘We are really proud of everyone who attended and worked hard to fight the fire and return the business and community to normal.

‘Thank you all for your kind words and messages. The attending crews do read them and they do mean a lot to us!’
‘A huge thank you to our teams, their families and local employers (who allow their staff to attend emergencies for us) for today.
The team are now back down home station and are getting cleaned up following today’s incident in Ilkeston.’
