Police are investigating after antisemitic graffiti was daubed at a skate park in Chilwell.
The graffiti message was discovered yesterday (Thursday) afternoon at the Inham Nook Recreation Ground and has since been removed.
An investigation into what happened is ongoing.
Chief Inspector Riz Khan said:
“This is a shocking incident that will understandably cause a great deal of distress to people living in our community.
“What happened here is utterly unacceptable and is currently being investigated as a hate crime.
“We are determined to catch up with the individual or individuals responsible.
“We believe this offence was committed at some point between 3pm on Tuesday 16 December and 1pm on Thursday 18 December, and are appealing for anyone with relevant information to come forward.”
