The A46 remains closed northbound at Hobby Horse roundabout.
Leicestershire Police said at 2:30 pm on Monday 16 March:
‘Our crews have now handed over this incident on the Hobby Horse Roundabout to the Highways Authority and Crouch Recovery.
‘One person has been taken to hospital as a result of the incident.

‘Our partners are working to reopen the A46 to Melton soon, but as you can see from the photographs, this is a very large vehicle that has shed its load, and motorists should continue to expect delays and plan alternate routes.’
