2425 (Nottingham Airport) Squadron RAF Air Cadets are delighted to announce that we are recruiting young people to join our squadron.
2425 Squadron RAF Air Cadets is situated at Nottingham Airport, Tollerton.
Although the airfield is closed to fixed-wing aircraft, Arcus Helicopters are still operating, and our squadron building is not and will not be affected. The squadron is also still able to use the open space of the airfield for training.

2425 is a vibrant and friendly place for young people aged between 12 and 17 who have an interest in aviation, the great outdoors, and a host of other educational and fun activities.
Space, cyber, flying, sport, leadership, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, first aid, adventure training, music, drill, and ceremonial, to name just a few.

It is a great place to meet new friends and undertake new adventures. The life skills you will learn will serve you well when considering your career as you progress through your school years.

Our squadron parades twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, between 7 pm and 9:30 pm. You must be aged 12 and in Year 8 at school to be eligible to join. You will be provided with a blue uniform free of charge, though you may have to purchase military MTP pattern clothing, and you will need your own footwear.

To find out more about your new adventure, we are holding an Open Evening on Monday 30 March 2026 at 7:15 pm at our squadron HQ. If you are interested and would like to attend with a parent/carer, please email the address below with your name and the names of the parents/carers who will attend with you.
Opportunities to join will be limited, so please make contact as soon as possible if you wish to attend.
