Drivers across Nottingham are being advised of a series of roadworks, closures and traffic restrictions taking place throughout March and into early April.
Lane closures remain in place on Nuthall Road between Llanberis Grove and Western Boulevard until March 30 for footpath resurfacing works.
Parking restrictions are also continuing on Woodside Road, between Derby Road and University Boulevard, until May 31 as part of National Highways works.
A number of roads have been affected by ongoing highways works since February, including closures and parking bay suspensions on Thane Road, Abbeyfield Road, Redfield Road and Bull Close Road, which are scheduled to remain in place until May 3.
Lindfield Road is closed between Alwyn Road and Shipley Road until August 21 for Severn Trent works, while a separate closure is in place at the junction of Hayden Road and Devonshire Crescent until March 31.
Several temporary traffic controls are also planned across the city. Two-way traffic lights will be in operation on Millennium Way East near the Phoenix Park park-and-ride on March 20 for signal upgrades, and on Abbeyfield Road on March 23 for manhole repairs.
Further works beginning on March 23 include a road closure and two-way lights on Wolford Crescent East running until March 25, as well as parking bay suspensions on Heathcote Street until March 31 for Cadent Gas works. Two-way lights will also be in place on The Wells Road until March 27 for Severn Trent works.
On March 26, three-way traffic lights will be installed on Mansfield Road at the junction with Winchester Street and Newstead Street to allow for the removal of a redundant CCTV column.
Looking ahead, additional disruption is expected from March 30. Road closures and parking suspensions will be in place on Squires Avenue between Sandhurst Road and the park entrance for resurfacing works. A lane closure will also be in place on Clifton Boulevard at the junction with Queens Drive until March 31 for cabling works.
Sutton Passey’s Crescent will be closed from March 30 to April 5 for drainage works, while two-way traffic lights are planned on Electric Avenue on April 1 for telecoms works.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for journeys and seek alternative routes where possible while the works are ongoing.
