24-hour traffic signals on Loughborough Road Ruddington for over a week

Temporary traffic signals will be in place on Loughborough Road in Ruddington for more than a week to allow repair work on a cable fault.

The works, being carried out by National Grid, are located approximately 315 metres north of the junction with Easthorpe Street, close to the Esso garage. They are scheduled to begin at 8:30am on Thursday 2 April 2026 and continue until 4pm on Friday 10 April 2026.

During this period, two-way traffic signals will operate 24 hours a day. These will be manually controlled during peak times, between 7am and 9am and again from 3:30pm to 7pm, to help manage traffic flow along the busy route.

The works are required to locate and repair a cable fault. Drivers are being advised to expect delays, particularly at peak travel times, and to allow extra time for their journeys through the area.
