Jet2 will launch flights and city breaks to Paris from East Midlands Airport for summer 2027.
The airline and tour operator said the new route will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, from 26 March to 29 October 2027.
Passengers will be able to book flight-only seats with Jet2.com, city breaks through Jet2CityBreaks, or package holidays through Jet2holidays. The route will also be available for trips to Disneyland Paris and Eurocamp sites in the Paris area.
Jet2 said flight-only bookings include a 22kg baggage allowance and 10kg hand luggage. Package holiday options include flights, accommodation and ATOL protection, with a £60 per person booking deposit.
Steve Griffiths, managing director of East Midlands Airport, said the new service would give passengers access to the French capital from their regional airport.
He said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be able to give our customers access to the French capital with Jet2 starting next summer. This move really highlights Jet2’s confidence in East Midlands Airport as a highly popular gateway to some of Europe’s top destinations.
“Paris is a destination our customers are continually asking for, so it’s fantastic to meet their expectations and deliver a great, relaxing start to their holiday from their local airport.”
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We have seen continued demand for flights and holidays to Paris, so we are giving customers and independent travel agents exactly what they want by launching this brand-new route to Paris from East Midlands Airport for Summer 2027.
“This expansion further strengthens our network of incredible destinations from the airport, and we know this new route will be incredibly popular with holidaymakers across the airport region. We look forward to bringing even more holidaymakers to the French capital.”
