She then spat in the man’s face, picked up a bottle of water and threw it at him.

PC Declan Towl, who is investigating the incident, said:

“This was absolutely appalling behaviour and we are determined to find the person responsible.

“Not only was the victim subjected to a nasty verbal attack, but she then spat in his face. We have carried out a number of lines of inquiry to find the person responsible. However, so far, no arrests have been made.

“We are now appealing for the public’s help. We have released an image of a woman that could help us with our inquiries. Do you know the woman in the image? Are you the woman in the image? Please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
