A police cordon has been set up on land next to the A617 Rainworth Bypass.
Police said:
‘A suspicious incident was reported to the police around 2.45pm on Saturday (23 May).
‘The ongoing incident poses no wider threat to the public.
‘The cordon is set to remain in place for some time, while police continue to conduct inquiries.’
