trentbarton is making changes to some of its bus services following a review of customer use and punctuality.
From Sunday 26 July, the cotgrave and skylink express services will no longer serve Broad Marsh bus station in Nottingham.
The operator said extensive surveying found that 90 per cent of customers leaving Nottingham use stops on Friar Lane, Beastmarket Hill or Nottingham Railway Station, rather than Broad Marsh bus station.
trentbarton said removing the bus station from the routes would also help improve punctuality by around three to five minutes.
From the same date, the cotgrave will run directly from Beastmarket Hill to Nottingham Railway Station, while skylink express will run directly from Friar Lane to the station.
There will also be minor changes throughout both timetables.
Changes are also being made to the calverton service from Sunday 26 July, with minor timetable revisions designed to improve punctuality.
The xprss38 timetable will also be updated. Journeys in Derby will start and finish at Corporation Street, where buses will wait between trips. Passengers will still be able to travel through to Victoria Street on journeys back towards Burton.
trentbarton said more evening journeys on the xprss38 will also run via Derby Road in Burton, while late-night buses will continue to serve Stretton.
Additional evening journeys serving Stretton will be listed in the villager timetable.
