Bin collections in Rushcliffe will start earlier than usual this week because of the amber heat warning in place.
Collections due between Tuesday 23 June and Friday 26 June will begin at 6am, instead of the usual 7am start.
Rushcliffe Borough Council said:
‘Residents are being asked to place their bins at the edge of their property before 6am on their collection day.
‘The temporary change is being made to help waste crews reduce the amount of time they are working during the warmest parts of the day.
‘Residents are thanked for supporting crews working in the hot conditions this week.’
