Two men have been injured with stab wounds following an altercation between two groups of men outside Fusion Sports Bar in James Street.
The incident took place at 2.36am this morning and officers were called to the scene. The altercation began outside the sports bar and continued on St James’s Street to outside the Roebuck Inn.
Three men aged 20, 21 and 22 were arrested on suspicion of affray and remain in police custody. Paramedics also attended and two men aged 22 and 27 were taken to hospital.
The 22-year-old man sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital. The 27-year-old man has been treated for his injuries which were not believed to be as serious. He has also been arrested on suspicion of affray.

“We do not tolerate violence, the carrying of weapons to incite it or to cause harm to others.
