Rushcliffe residents are being reminded to put their bins out earlier this week as waste crews prepare to start collections an hour ahead of schedule during the warmer weather.
Bin collections due between Wednesday 8 July and Friday 10 July will begin at 6am rather than the usual 7am.
Residents are asked to place their bins at the edge of their property before 6am on their collection day to help ensure they are not missed.
The temporary change is being made so waste crews can reduce the amount of time spent working during the warmest parts of the day.
Rushcliffe Borough Council thanked residents for their support and said the measure would help crews working in the hot conditions this week.
