Police have closed the A52 near to the QMC.
Updated: The road has reopened
A spokesperson said at 7:20 am on Friday:
‘The A52 Clifton Boulevard has been closed near to the Queen’s Medical Centre as we respond to concerns for a person’s safety.
‘Drivers are being urged to avoid the area if they can and we thank people for their patience and understanding while we deal with the incident.’
