Flawforth Lane in Ruddington will close overnight for four nights while road maintenance work is carried out.
The entire length of the road will be closed from 20:00 until 06:00 each night, from Tuesday 4 August until Saturday 8 August.
Via East Midlands will undertake preparation and patching ahead of surface dressing work.
Temporary parking restrictions will also apply on both sides of Flawforth Lane throughout the works.
The diversion route will run via the A60 and A52 in both directions.
