Nottinghamshire traffic and travel updates Wednesday 12 August

It is a fairly settled start on Nottinghamshire’s main road network this morning.

Trams – NET lists cancelled services

NET lists several cancelled services this morning. The cancelled services shown include 07:15 and 09:00 from Hucknall, 07:53 and 08:23 from Toton, and further cancellations from other points on the network.

07:15, 09:00 from Hucknall.
07:53, 08:23 from Toton Lane.
07:48, 08:18 from Phoenix Park.
07:22, 08:37 from Clifton South.

Roads

No major new incident or closure has been identified on Nottinghamshire’s main strategic routes in this check, including the M1, A1, A46 and A52. Drivers should still expect normal peak-time build-up on approaches into Nottingham.

Buses

NCT says Turquoise 78 and 79 have returned to their normal route along Nuthall Road, following earlier works-related disruption. However, Nuthall Road resurfacing remains listed for weekdays between 10 and 17 August, with diversions scheduled during working hours.

Other ongoing NCT issues include roadworks affecting Green 7 on Melton Road, Pink 30 in Wollaton, and longer-running works around Trent Boulevard, affecting Green 11/11C until 28 August.

Rail

No major new Nottingham-specific rail incident has been identified in this check, but East Midlands Railway remains on a temporary reduced Intercity timetable until further notice because of fleet reliability issues.

Looking ahead, EMR says buses will replace trains between Sheffield and Nottingham on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August, and there are further planned amendments to services between London St Pancras, Leicester, Derby and Sheffield that weekend.
