Police have confirmed that a man has died following a collision on the A17 Sleaford Road and are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
Lincolnshire Police were called shortly after 4.15 am today Monday 17 August to a collision on the A17 between Beckingham and Brant Broughton.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision, a DAF HGV which had a blue cab and a white trailer and a white VW Golf. The driver of the HGV was travelling west towards Beckingham and the driver of the Golf was driving east towards Brant Broughton.
POlice said:
‘Sadly, the driver of the Golf, a man in his 20s, and local to the Newark area, died at the scene. His family have been informed.
‘As part of our investigation into the collision we would like to speak to anyone who saw either vehicle as they travelled on the A17 towards the scene, anyone who has dashcam or other recorded footage and anyone who has any information that may help with our inquiries.
