Seventeen employers in Nottinghamshire named for failing to pay National Minimum Wage

Seventeen employers with trading addresses in Nottinghamshire have been named by the Government for failing to pay the National Minimum Wage.

The businesses owed a combined £119,300.88 in arrears to 327 workers, according to the latest Government naming publication issued in September 2026.

The figures include ten employers in Nottingham city and seven across the wider Nottinghamshire county council area.

Jigsaw Homecare Ltd, based in the Mansfield area, recorded the largest local underpayment. The company owed £32,069.77 to 80 workers, an average of £400.87 each.

Perfectpays Ltd, trading as TapGo in the Ashfield area, owed £19,663.44 to eight workers. This represented an average of £2,457.93 per employee.

Redhill Car Wash, operated by Ms Media Muhialdeen Abdulla in Gedling, was listed as owing £17,018.27 to nine workers, while Bethell & Shepherd Plumbing & Heating Limited, also in Gedling, owed £8,715.86 to five people.

In Nottingham, Northgate Fast Food Limited, trading as Taco Bell, had the largest number of affected workers among the local employers. It owed £7,976.25 to 115 workers.

Pengfei Education Consultancy Ltd owed £6,554.29 to one worker, while Goldens (Nottingham) Limited, trading as Sherif & Sons Superstore, owed £5,395.46 to 13 workers.

Other Nottingham employers on the list include Mraya International Supermarkets Ltd, R.M.S. Construction and Developments Limited, Elite Security Personnel Limited, Capstone Care Provider Limited and Park Lane Kids Ltd.

Mr Naser Azhar, trading as The Vape Team, and Mr Gary Keen and Ms Shuxing Li Yeug, trading as Orchid Café, were also named.

In Broxtowe, Sweet Aroma Ltd owed £3,757.54 to 45 workers, while Zium Limited, trading as Lime Restaurant, owed £786.19 to three workers.

DWPS (UK) Limited, trading as DWPS Chartered Surveyors, was the only Bassetlaw employer listed. It owed £2,315.13 to eight workers.

The ten Nottingham city employers owed a combined £34,974.68 to 169 workers.

Across the Nottinghamshire County Council area, seven employers owed £84,326.20 to 158 workers.

No employers with trading addresses in Rushcliffe or Newark and Sherwood appeared.

The arrears relate to varying periods between 2018 and 2025. The locations are based on the employers’ trading addresses recorded in the Government publication.
