Image shared by police after Mapperley burglary

Police want to speak to this man following a burglary at a Mapperley flat.

Two occupants of shared accommodation in Querneby Road had electric bikes taken during the incident.

The bikes were both stolen from the communal area of the property, at some point between 2.30am and 4.20am on 29 June.

Police have been investigating the break-in ever since and can now release this image of a man they’d like to speak to as part of their inquiries.

Detective Sergeant Alana Scott, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“Two valuable e-bikes were stolen during this break-in, so we’re obviously keen to return them to their actual owners.

“We also want to track down whoever was responsible for this burglary, which happened in the early hours of the morning, while the homeowners were asleep.

“On that note, we’re keen to speak to the man in this picture, who we believe will be able to assist us with our ongoing inquiries.

“We’d therefore ask that he makes himself known to us, while anyone who recognises him shares this information with the police.”

The police can be contacted directly on 101, quoting incident 366 of 29 June 2026, while Crimestoppers can be reached anonymously on 0800 555 111.
