Video and pictures taken on foot alongside the Maid Marian Way contraflow show the congestion as demolition of the former NCP car park continues.
Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction, with vehicles sharing the northbound side of the road while contractors remove the section of the building closest to the carriageway, including the structure above it.

The restrictions introduced on Monday 28 September also include the closure of Greyfriar Gate and Albion Street.
Motorists and bus passengers have faced lengthy delays during the week, with congestion affecting routes through Nottingham city centre.

The footage below shows conditions through the contraflow while the works take place.
The demolition is part of preparations for the wider redevelopment of Broad Marsh.
