Local residents can now register for NHS dental care in Beeston, thanks to a new partnership between Toothbank, an independent dental practice in the town, and Remarkable Smiles of Derby.
NHS appointments will be delivered by the Remarkable Smiles NHS team at the Toothbank practice. The partnership has been supported by Juliet Campbell, MP for Broxtowe, and the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board (ICB).
Access to NHS dentistry remains one of the most pressing healthcare concerns for families across the country. The new service gives Beeston residents a route to NHS dental care close to home.

Juliet Campbell MP said:
“I am delighted that residents in Beeston and the surrounding areas will now be able to benefit from 800 additional NHS dental appointments at Toothbank.”
“My constituents in Beeston and the surrounding areas have long been struggling to find an NHS dentist, with patients travelling outside the town to parts of Nottingham to get dental treatment. For children, this means more time out of school to visit a dentist.”
“I am so proud to have worked with the ICB and local dentists to secure these additional dental places. I am very grateful to our local dentists and the ICB for listening to residents and delivering the increased provision that our community needs.”

“This is just the start. I will continue the conversations to ensure Broxtowe gets the NHS places it needs.”
Traceyanne Smith, Founder of Toothbank, said:
“I set up Toothbank because I believe everyone deserves good dental care without worrying about the cost or being talked down to. Being able to bring NHS care to my own community, with the support of Juliet Campbell, the ICB and our partners at Remarkable Smiles, means a huge amount to me and the team.”
Julian Lambert, a patient at Toothbank from Beeston, said:
“We’ve been keen to get an NHS place locally for some years now, after our last practice went private without any warning. We know the team at Toothbank and know this is a great win for the Beeston community.”
