Road closures and temporary traffic lights are scheduled across Rushcliffe during the week beginning Monday 26 October.
Via East Midlands notices include overnight carriageway repairs around Cotgrave, temporary signals in West Bridgford and Edwalton, and water connection works in East Leake.
Plumtree Road and Cotgrave Road – overnight closures
Overnight closures are scheduled from 8pm on Monday 26 October until 6am on Thursday 29 October, with restrictions operating between 8pm and 6am.
The carriageway repairs affect:
- Plumtree Road, Cotgrave: between Woodgate Lane and its junction with Cotgrave Road, Clipston.
- Cotgrave Road, Clipston: the whole road.
- Cotgrave Road, Tollerton: the whole road.
- Cotgrave Road, Normanton on the Wolds: the whole road.
Temporary restrictions on waiting, loading and unloading will also apply.
The diversion runs via Bakers Hollow, Plumtree Road, The Cross and Main Road in Cotgrave, then Stragglethorpe Road, Radcliffe Road, Gamston Lings Bar Road and Melton Road, Tollerton, or the reverse route.
Melton Road, West Bridgford – Monday 26 October
Carriageway repairs between Robina Court and Rydal Gardens are scheduled to finish on Monday 26 October.
The works began on Friday 23 October. Two-way temporary signals will operate from 9.30am to 3pm daily, with manual control throughout. The road is to be clear outside those hours.
Cropwell Road, Radcliffe on Trent – Monday night
Four-way temporary traffic lights will operate at the A52 junction from 8pm on Monday 26 October until 6am on Tuesday 27 October.
National Highways will carry out tree pruning. The highway is to be clear outside the scheduled hours.
Europa Way, West Bridgford – Tuesday 27 October
Three-way temporary traffic lights will operate at the Loughborough Road junction between 9.30am and 2.30pm on Tuesday 27 October.
Via will carry out carriageway repairs. The signals will be manually controlled throughout, with the road clear outside those hours.
Melton Road, Edwalton – Tuesday 27 October
Four-way temporary traffic lights are planned at the junction with Highgrove Gardens and Melton Gardens between 9.30am and 2.30pm on Tuesday 27 October.
The restrictions will allow Via to carry out carriageway repairs. Signals will be manually controlled throughout, and the road is to be clear at other times.
Main Street, East Leake – Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 October
Three-way temporary traffic lights will operate at the Gotham Road junction from 8am on Wednesday 28 October until 4pm on Friday 30 October.
The works are listed for Severn Trent Water to install or repair a customer connection.
Signals will remain in operation around the clock during the works, with manual control between 7am and 7pm daily.
