An elderly woman has died following a collision in a supermarket car park.
Emergency services were called to Iceland, in Nuthall Road, Aspley, at 2.20pm on Monday (13 October) after the incident involving a car and an 86-year-old pedestrian.
The woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Despite the best efforts of medical staff, she was pronounced deceased in the early hours of Wednesday.
Officers are appealing for anyone who saw what happened – particularly those with dashcam – to come forward immediately.
Detective Constable Liah Lane, of Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:
“The woman’s family is being supported by specialist officers following this tragic incident.
“They have asked for privacy at what must be an extremely difficult time.
“If you were a witness, or if you captured it on dash-cam or other footage, we want to hear from you, as this information could really assist our inquiries.”
