A38 Derbyshire closed because of overturned car

The A38 northbound is closed between the A5121 Clay Mills and A50 Toyota Island due to an overturned car.

Derbyshire Police said at 9:19 am Monday 6 May:

‘The A38 is closed northbound between Willington and the Toyota Island following a single car collision. The road will be closed for some time. Diversions are in place but traffic will be heavy so alternative routes are advised.’

The A38 northbound is closed between the A5121 Clay Mills and A50 Toyota Island due to an overturned car.

Emergency services, including Derbyshire Police an Ambulance team have attended.

Traffic is diverted – at Clay Mills – via the A5121 southbound and A511 northbound to Foston.

Delays are likely on the approach to this closure, with additional journey times also expected on diversion routes.
