Christmas light trail at Wollaton Hall reveals dates for 2026

Nottingham Winter Light Trail will return to Wollaton Hall and Deer Park from 25 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, with tickets now on sale.

The mile-long route will feature new walk-through light installations, interactive activities and a fairytale zone, alongside soundscapes and illuminations around the historic grounds.

Adult tickets start at £17 and children’s tickets at £12.50, with free entry for children under three. Super off-peak, off-peak, standard and peak tickets are available.

The after-dark trail is dog-friendly, allowing visitors to bring their dogs along.

A food stop will be available halfway around the route, while a Food Village will offer sweet and savoury options from independent stalls before or after the walk.

Food and drink will include toasted marshmallows, hot chocolate, mulled wine, beer and Yorkshire pudding wraps. Groups of eight to ten can also book a private mini chalet for dining.

Jonathan Ware, director at Winter Light Trail, said: “For more than five years, our Winter Light Trails have been a much-loved Christmas family tradition. We’ve welcomed thousands of visitors and their four-legged friends along to make special memories that will last a lifetime, and this year will be no exception.”

Organisers advise booking ahead to secure a preferred date and time.
