Sections of the A52 between Radcliffe-on-Trent and Bingham will close overnight for maintenance work from Thursday 16 July.
The work will take place between the RSPCA junction at Radcliffe-on-Trent and Bingham Interchange and will include inspections and repairs to drainage, lighting and road signs, as well as vegetation clearance.
The A52 will be fully closed between 8pm and 6am while the work is carried out.
The section between the RSPCA junction and Bingham Road will close overnight on Thursday 16 July.
Closures between Bingham Road and Bingham Interchange are then planned for Friday 17 July, Monday 20 July and Tuesday 21 July.
Traffic will be diverted via the A46 between Bingham Interchange and Stragglethorpe Road before rejoining the A52 at Holme House junction. The same route will operate in reverse for traffic travelling in the opposite direction.
Escorted access will be provided during the closures for residents of Grantham Road and adjoining side roads.
Main Street and Bingham Road will remain open, allowing motorists to reach Carter Lane without requiring an escort.
The road is scheduled to reopen by 6am after each overnight closure.
