Gas works on the A52 from Gamston to Saxondale are causing delays to buses.
Roadworks and lane closures for gas works which stared this week and continue for 12 weeks are causing severe delays to trentbarton bus services.
In an update at 10 am the operator said:
‘Here’s how things are looking right now:
‘the cotgrave – around 25 mins late
‘mainline – around 50 mins late
‘rushcliffe villager – around 23 mins late
‘Heads up! The Service Station stop (en route to Radcliffe & Bingham) is now out of use due to lane closures.
‘We understand that delays can be frustrating, and we appreciate your patience while these essential works are underway.’
National Highways said:
‘A52 in Nottinghamshire delays east and west between Gamston and A46 Saxondale
‘Delays due to long-term works on behalf of Cadent Gas.
‘There are lane closures in place and a speed restriction through the works area.
‘These restrictions will remain in place until 3 April.’
