Police are appealing for information after a dog was attacked in Long Eaton.
Police said:
‘A man was walking his Brittany Spaniel down the canalpath at the back of Howarth Close at around 1pm on 18 February, when a medium sized black dog bit the spaniel on its back leg causing serious injury.
‘The black dog was being walked by a woman in her 30s or 40s, who was approximately 5ft tall and of slim build. She was wearing a stripy top. It is believed the woman lives locally.
