Officers don’t believe, however, that the offences were carried out by the same suspect.

The first suspect is described as white, around 6ft tall, around 20 years of age and of a skinny build. He was wearing a black hooded top, black jogging bottoms, a black beanie style hat, black gloves and a face mask. He spoke with a local accent.

The second suspect is described as white, aged in his late teens, around 5ft 6ins tall and of chubby build. He had blond hair and blue / green eyes.

Detective Inspector Craig Hall, of Nottinghamshire Police said: “While incidents of this nature are thankfully very rare I would I like to reassure people that we are doing everything we can to  investigate these attacks and identify the people responsible.

“We do not believe these attacks were carried out by the same person and have been given good descriptions of both suspects.

“If you have saw anyone matching the above descriptions in these areas early yesterday evening we want to hear from you at the earliest opportunity.”

If you have any information about these incidents please contact police quoting crime numbers 824 and 846 of 24 June.
