Nottinghamshire Police is appealing for information after a woman was hit by a car which failed to stop at the scene.
The victim was using a zebra crossing in St Ann’s Well Road, St Ann’s, Nottingham, when the silver Audi car collided with her.
The incident took place around 4.30pm on Wednesday 30 September at the crossing close to the junction of St Ann’s Well Road and Hedderley Walk.
The vehicle clipped the woman’s leg but did not stop and continued to travel in a north easterly direction away from Nottingham city centre.
She suffered swelling to her knee and continues to report being in pain following the incident.
Officers are now asking people to come forward with both information and dashcam footage which captured the incident.
Police Constable Andy Finch, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“A number of people assisted the woman so we know there were witnesses who have not yet spoken to us.
“There will also have been other vehicles passing along St Ann’s Well Road around this time who may have recorded footage of the incident.
“I’d urge anyone who can help to please get in touch without delay.”
Anyone with information or relevant footage should call 101, quoting incident 686 of 30 September 2026, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
