Arrest after man has takeaway food stolen from him in Nottingham

A man arrested on Monday evening on suspicion of robbery after a delivery driver was assaulted and had his takeaway food taken off him has now been charged.

The driver flagged down officers whilst on patrol in the area close to Plantagenet Street in St Ann’s after he had a pizza and ice cream stolen.

Ryan Francis, 36 of no fixed address has been charged with robbery, possession of a Class B drug and common assault.

He is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court today.
