A man was arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency after an incident in a public park.
Police were called to Vernon Road, Old Basford, shortly before 5.15pm yesterday (Wednesday 18 August) by concerned members of the public who had reported the man’s actions.
Officers arrived on the scene within minutes and a 35-year-old man was arrested as he was sitting on the grass.
He was taken into custody and has since been released on police bail as investigations continue.
Sergeant Sharon Powar, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was an alarming incident for people to witness and was swiftly dealt with by officers. Anyone with any additional information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 545 of 18 August.”
