Arrests after suspected stabbing at a Chilwell property

Three men have been arrested after reports of an assault in Chilwell.

Police were called to an address in Eskdale Drive at 10.47am on Tuesday following a disturbance.

A 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and treated in hospital for a suspected stab wound.

He was later released and is now on conditional police bail.

Two further suspects were arrested on Wednesday.

A 38-year-old man was detained on suspicion of affray and wounding with intent, and a 19-year-old man was detained on suspicion of affray, wounding with intent and possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.

Investigations into what happened are ongoing.

Detective Sergeant Sarah Gregg, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“Officers have been working hard to understand exactly what happened at this location on Tuesday and to identify everyone involved.

“To this end we would like to hear from any additional witnesses who have not already spoken to us.”
