Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to trace after an unprovoked attack on a tram pulling into Beeston.
The incident happened at around 7.45 pm on Friday, May 26.
The 23-year-old victim decided to intervene when an aggressive man was threatening another tram passenger.
Abuse was then hurled at the victim before he was punched in the face.
Other passengers intervened and the man then left the tram at Beeston.

Police were then called.
Officers have carried out a number of lines of inquiry and have now released CCTV images of a man that could help with their inquiries.
