Blue Camel Café opens in West Bridgford – complete with vintage and antique store!

Blue Camel Café has opened its cafe, bar and store in West Bridgford.

The premises is at 68 Bridgford Road opposite the library and Co-op.

The business is owned by Liam Woodgates, and is the sister store to Hopkinson (located by the train station) and Cobden Place (located on Pelham Street).

This new site is a cafe, bar and store all in one.

The store stocks everything from antiques and vintage clothing, to handmade homeware and vegan and zero waste items.

Dealers instore include local Nottingham businesses such as Dash Vegan, Tweed Elite and Gong Nong Bing Vintage to name a few, as well as Woodgates’ own carefully curated stock.

The bar and cafe runs in conjunction with the store with events such as monthly open mic nights allowing aspiring local talent to perform, and creates a great sense of community.

There are regular events planned to be announced soon.

Every Wednesday a flea market is held in the outside area, with lots of exciting and unique antiques and vintage items on offer for sale.

There is a Vegan market held every Saturday also.

This new venture is an exciting addition to West Bridgford , and gives the community a chance to support the growing Hopkinson presence and a local, small business.
