A body has been found in Nottingham.
Police were called to the Forest Recreation Ground, off Mansfield Road, at 6.13am on Tuesday 16 June following reports of a man’s sudden death.
Nottinghamshire Police said the man, who is believed to be in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers cordoned off part of the recreation ground while forensic officers investigated the scene on Tuesday morning.
The force said the death is not believed to be suspicious and that a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Detective Inspector Lisa Jones said: “Officers were called to the Forest Recreation Ground, Mansfield Road, Nottingham, at 6.13am on Tuesday (June, 16) following reports of man’s sudden death.
“Despite the best efforts of first responders, the man, aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
