A body believed to be that of missing man Tony, who Derbyshire Police previously reported as missing earlier this month, has been found.
Officers from Nottinghamshire Police located the body of a man in the River Trent at Colwick on Friday morning (13 March).
Police said:
‘Formal identification has yet to take place, however, there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances or third-party involvement.
‘Tony’s family have been made aware and are being supported by officers. We ask that their privacy is respected at this time.
