Bombay Sweet Centre has announced the opening date for its brand-new West Bridgford shop on Gordon Road.
Bombay Sweet Centre was established in 1995 in Hyson Green, Nottingham.
The owner of the new shop, Rahul and his parents have lived in West Bridgford for 40 years and love the area and its community.
Rahul told us: ‘From very early on our ambition was to open up a shop in West Bridgford.
‘As an Indian deli, it’s the first of its kind for the town.
‘Customers can walk in and buy treats such as samosas, bhajis, street food, chicken tikka and curries.’
All of the food is freshly made every day.
There is a range of traditional Indian sweets such as milk barfi, jalebi, as well as modern takes like apple pie samosas, Biscoff samosas and gulab jamun cheesecake.
Many of theses are available in the original Nottingham store but with much more on offer, like a traditional Indian breakfast and a selection of traditional chais too.
Bombay Sweet Centre caters for events of all sizes too, with bundles on offer to cater for five to fifteen people.
Vegan and vegetarian options are available.
Catering for large events is also available through their website bombaysweetcentre.co.uk.
Opening times are:
Tuesday – Saturday 9 – 6.30 pm
Sunday 10-5 pm
Bombay Sweet Centre has also secured a premises licence, and will be selling craft beer which will complement the street food and curries on offer very well.
Opeining Friday 5 May.
