Nottingham business Doughnotts is planning to open a new store in West Bridgford.
The business has identified a premises in the Gordon Road area of the town to open its latest operation.
The handmade doughnut business which became popular when it opened in Nottingham, also has stores in Leicester, Lincoln, Birmingham and Beeston as well as a presence at West Midlands Designer Outlet in Cannock and East Midlands Designer Outlet in Mansfield.
There are also stockists at The Bull Ring in Birmingham and at Giltbrook Retail Park in Nottingham.
Doughnotts opened in 2015 in Nottingham after Wade Smith and Megan Scaddan ‘kicked things off in mum’s kitchen with a tenner and a wok’.
Before they knew it, they say that they had themselves a micro-bakery and their own shop in Nottingham.

They say on their website: ‘We’re not talking your usual doughnuts either, oh no.
‘These doughnuts are handmade, coming rough and ready with all manner of mouth-watering toppings.
‘We’ve even got vegan doughnuts, because we’ve got your backs, you vegan champs.’
They also cater for weddings, birthdays and other doughnut-type events!
