A teenage dog walker was punched in the face after refusing to hand over his dog and other belongings.
The 14-year-old boy was walking along Shelford Road, Radcliffe-on-Trent when he was stopped by a group of youths, one of whom asked him to give him his dog, phone, headphones, and trainers.
When he refused the boy was punched numerous times in an attempt to get him to let go of his dog. He suffered cuts and swelling.
Inquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible for the attempted robbery which happened shortly after 10 pm on Friday 19 April 2024.

The group ran off after they were challenged by members of the public, one of whom gave the boy a lift home.
Investigating officers have now issued CCTV images of two youths they want to identify and speak to in connection with the incident.
Detective Sergeant Ben Skellern, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Violent and threatening behaviour of this nature will not be tolerated.
“We are continuing to investigate this nasty incident and as part of our ongoing inquiries we have now released CCTV images of two people we believe may have information that could assist us with our investigation.
“We’d ask anyone who recognises them to contact us immediately by calling 101, quoting incident number 784 of 19 April 2024. Alternatively, anyone with information can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
