A car that drove into standing water on the A610 crashed causing it to burst into flames.
A passing police officer saw the incident unfold on his way to work.
A spokesperson for Derbyshire Police said:
‘One of our officers driving to work on the A610 in the Nottinghamshire
area and this Astra undertakes him at speed, hits standing water, loses control and crashes.
