Carlton Community Hub has issued an urgent appeal for support after part of its ceiling collapsed, leaving its café room unsafe to use.
Those running the hub said the original ceiling had failed, causing plaster to fall onto the suspended ceiling below.
They have been advised that the entire suspended ceiling will need to be removed before the main ceiling is overboarded and the room reinstated.

Thankfully, nobody was injured in the incident.
The community hub is now seeking recommendations for reliable builders who may be able to carry out the work quickly, as well as offers of an alternative local venue where its activities can temporarily take place.
An appeal has also been launched for financial support to help cover the repairs.
Despite the damage, volunteers said the food bank service would continue at the door to ensure nobody goes without.
Anyone able to offer building contacts, a temporary venue, funding or other practical help is being asked to contact Carlton Community Hub.
