Police have increased patrols in West Bridgford following reports of a group of young people causing persistent disruption in Bridgford Park and the surrounding area.
Rushcliffe neighbourhood policing inspector Tim Cuthbert said several arrests had been made in connection with criminal damage and theft offences.
He said some of the incidents were linked to underage drinking and drug use.
Several members of a group have been released on bail with conditions preventing them from entering the area, according to the inspector.
Rushcliffe Borough Council has moved a CCTV camera into the park to increase coverage and has also deployed private security patrols.
Police said further arrests and other interventions would be made where necessary, with officers also prepared to use dispersal powers. These allow police to direct people to leave a specified area for a limited period when there are concerns about crime or anti-social behaviour.
The action forms part of an increased police presence in the area during the summer.
Officers have also received training in the use of equipment intended to help them seize illegally operated electric bikes.
Inspector Cuthbert said a number of e-bikes had already been seized during the past month and that enforcement would continue throughout the summer.
