Police have released CCTV images of two people they want to trace as part of their investigation into a street robbery.
A group of around six or seven men approached a 29-year-old who was sat on a wall in Denman Street Central.
He was then kicked and punched by members of the group, who then ran off with his mobile phone and bank card.
The unprovoked attack happened at around 4pm on 22 May and left the victim with cuts and bruises.
Police would like anyone who recognises the people in the images to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Louise Bradford said: “This was a cowardly robbery and it was fortunate the victim’s injuries were not more serious.
“We’re keen to speak to anyone who recognises these two people or anyone with any other information that could help with our investigation.
“We’d also like to hear from anyone with dash cam footage from the area around the time of the incident.”
