Mobile testing units (MTUs) are located across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire at temporary locations to help increase access to coronavirus testing.
Coronavirus: Locations for mobile testing units across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire
If you have symptoms of coronavirus including a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste, you should get tested as soon as possible.
Providing there is local availability, you can book in for a test at a mobile testing site, a drive-in or walk through site or for a home testing kit by calling 119 or via the online government portal.
Over the next fortnight, MTUs can be found at the following locations:
Saturday 12th, Sunday 13th and Monday 14th September – Rushcliffe
Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September – Bulwell
Due to current circumstances, the location and dates listed above will change. The content on this webpage was accurate when published on 12 September 2020.
There is also a fixed testing drive-through site at the Motorpoint Arena car park behind the BBC building in Nottingham.
You must book in for a test prior to attending a MTU. Locations are drive-through only so you either need to drive or be driven to a site.
The test involves taking a swab of the nose and the back of the throat, which can be done by yourself or by a tester.
You will receive your test result via text or email within 72 hours. If your test is positive, you must self-isolate immediately. For more information on receiving your result, visit the NHS website.
Details of locations of MTUs across the county will be regularly updated on the CCG website. Locations are subject to change in response to local outbreaks and accurate at the time of publishing.
