West Bridgford hasn’t appeared on either the Top 20 areas for number of coronavirus cases, or the Top 20 areas for cases per 100,000 residents until this week.
Figures up to 4 October show West Bridgford as number 5 for number of cases with 95 cases.
The town is at number 9 for the rate of cases per 100,000 residents.
Rushcliffe as a borough, however, remains ‘significantly low’ in terms of cases of the virus.
Leaked Government documents show new local restrictions are now not expected to be announced until Monday, October 12, coming into effect from Wednesday, October 14.
All of the county, and city would go into ‘Level Two’ of a new traffic light system for local lockdowns due to be announced next week.
