Covid Booster vaccination: Three walk-in sites open for eligible residents in Nottinghamshire

If a person is eligible and has not yet received an invitation, they will be able to walk into certain sites to receive their booster.

The NHS is reminding the public about the importance of the Covid-19 booster vaccine ahead of winter.

Boosters are being offered to over 50s, people over 16 with a health condition that puts them at high risk of getting seriously ill from Covid-19, and health and social care workers.

These groups can have their booster once six months has passed since their second dose.

Those eligible for a booster vaccination are being contacted by the NHS inviting them to book in for their jabs.

However, if a person is eligible and has not yet received an invitation, they will be able to walk into certain sites to receive their booster. These include:

  • King’s Mill Hospital Vaccination Site – from 16th October onwards
  • Mansfield Vaccination Centre – from 16th October onwards
  • Forest Recreation Ground Vaccination Site – from 21st October onwards
