A closing-down sale has started at TG Jones in Arnold today, Friday 9 October.
The branch is at 24–26 Front Street. A final trading date for the Arnold store has not yet been confirmed.
The development comes days after TG Jones confirmed its Nottingham Victoria Centre store is expected to close on 31 December 2026.
The retailer said the Victoria Centre closure follows the implementation of its court-approved restructuring plan as it works to secure the long-term future of the business. A closing-down sale will also take place at that branch ahead of its final day of trading.
TG Jones was previously WHSmith’s high street business, which was bought by Modella Capital and rebranded in 2025. The chain has since been undergoing a restructuring involving store closures across the country.
