CT4N is pleased to announce the re-introduction of further services from Monday 4th May, as the number of drivers who are volunteering to return to work continues to increase.
CT4N continues to ensure that enhanced safety measures are in place to safeguard all staff and customers.
In addition to a number of services being re-introduced, there will also be changes to a couple of services, to provide key links to access health and essential shopping facilities, as well as services for key workers. These are summarised as follows:
CT4N service S11 will be re-introduced to provide an hourly daytime service between Mapperley, Mapperley Plains, Plains Estate, Arnold, Bestwood Park, Top Valley and Bulwell. In addition, the school journeys between Top Valley and Christ the King in Arnold will also be operating.
CT4N circular services 22/23 – Gamston, West Bridgford, Ruddington, Clifton, Silverdale. A revised timetable will be in operation and the route will also be amended to serve Sharp Hill Woods.
CT4N service 33 – Cropwell Bishop, Cotgrave, Tollerton, Gamston, West Bridgford, Nottingham. A revised timetable will be in operation and the first journey from Cropwell Bishop in the morning will be extended to serve the QMC, arriving at 7.30 am. In addition, the last two journeys from Nottingham Friar Lane will be extended to commence from the QMC at 4.15 pm and 5.55 pm. Service 33 is also the only bus service which serves Spire Hospital at Tollerton.
Locallink L14 will also be re-introduced but will be operating to a Saturday timetable. This service provides direct links to the City Hospital from Bulwell, Basford, Radford and Hyson Green.
Managing Director Ian Combellack said “The advice from the government is to only travel if your journey is essential. We are aware that some people do need to carry out essential trips to get to work or to visit local chemists and supermarkets. We are therefore pleased to be re-introducing more services but these will be operating to a reduced timetable.”
Ian concluded: “I would also like to say a special thank you to all of the staff who have volunteered to return to work, to either operate some of our key services or those staff who are undertaking cleaning of our fleet of buses. With more staff agreeing to return, we are hopeful that more services will be reintroduced over the next few weeks.’
