Dense fog could affect journeys in eastern parts of Nottinghamshire this morning, with visibility falling below 100 metres at times.
The weather warning says the most extensive and disruptive fog is expected during the morning rush hour.
Conditions should gradually improve as fog begins to thin, lift and clear later in the morning. However, some rural areas of eastern England could remain affected until this afternoon.
Drivers travelling through affected areas should be prepared for poor visibility and allow extra time for their journeys.
